The 103 series from Deutsche Bahn are heavy electric locomotives for fast passenger train traffic. Between 1965 and 1974 around 150 copies of it were built by manufacturers such as Henschel, Krupp or Siemens. They are still among the most powerful locomotives that the railway has ever had in service. They reached top speeds of up to 200 km / h.

The model is approx. 52 knobs long and consists of around 1380 individual parts. The locomotive can be driven by up to two Power-Functions XL motors. The middle part of the roof can be removed and the battery box and IR receiver are installed here. Due to the two direct drives, the locomotive has a particularly high pulling power.
